ecommerce privacy policy

I'm not sure is a question of if necessary, or if you must. Your potential customers will always be related to our use of your private information and contacts with them, and he reassures them, setting the limits of what they can expect from you, if you post a privacy policy and stick to it. (In fact, it may not be required to post a privacy policy in some places, but doing so after a policy but do not adhere to it, can be sued for fraud by customers or government authorities.) If you are developing this site for the long term and respect for their customers, I can not see how can leave without a posted privacy policy. Good luck.
